NAVIGATOR SERIES

THE POISON OF ECONOMIC DECEPTION

The poverty and economic recession in Nigeria is a grand deception that we have empowered. If you drop a seed carelessly on our soil it would germinate and produce harvest despite the economic recession. Under the surface we have minerals and precious stones enough to make cars, gadgets and everything that defines modern living. These assets lie dormant oblivious of the economic recession. Everything a society needs to live in abundance and ease is available here in excess but the only thing absent is the will and commonsense to take charge and apply ourselves. Since we chose to live like pet animals that depend on others instead of shouldering responsibility we are victims of value systems that are rigged to keep us impoverished. Ask yourself what the currency exchange rate is really based on? It just means 1 US $ or citizens life is worth 362 Naira or Nigerian citizens. Poor Africa! living in scarcity in the midst of abundance.
